The last time I visited SocialSpark, I admit I was kind of disappointed and was rather annoyed with the lay-out and design of the site. Although the blend of colors will really catch your attention, I was rather upset of how some of its pages load up; I had to wait for quite a few seconds to completely load those open opportunities as I switched from each one of them.
But tonight as I visited once again the site, I am now very pleased of the improvements SocialSpark has attained. To think it was just few weeks since my last visit and, well, disappointment, I am now facing a SocialSpark that is so much better than the last.
For those who do not know about SocialSpark, it is a social community that is burning with features. It is where a blogger can socialize with other bloggers, get connected by asking for that friendship connection, exchange review posts that link to each other's blogs, and it is also where money can be earned by taking sponsored opportunities, either by text or videos. Aside from building community and monetizing blogs, SocialSpark is a tool that can help improve blog traffic.
Its code of ethics include:
100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
100% Real Opinions
100% Search Engine Friendly
I am glad SocialSpark is now improving, from the spark to the flame, now it is burning hot and hotter each day. Now I have a good reason to be frequenting this site.
Sting Energy Drink – if you happen to see this drink, be aware! Why? Because it really stings. Honestly.
I was in the hospital that day, doing my 3 to 11 duty as a nurse trainee. It was time for supper, and so with my co-trainees we went to our favorite eatery. The moment I saw Sting Energy Drink, I was amazed, as it looked like a juice drink (and I really am a sucker of juice drinks rather than colas) and because it said it's an energy drink, then I might be needing it as I was kind of tired that time, as I didn't get to have a fine lunch before going to the hospital.
Sting taste good, and only that. The trouble is, it lives up to its name: it stings! I thought of leaving the drink unconsumed but it would be a waste of money. As there were chips of ice given to us by the eatery vendors, I tried putting a large one on my glass with Sting and when it became very cold, the sting has gone. It taste perfect! All you need is to just make it very cold to get that sting feeling out.
Sting is a great drink! It has lots of vitamins (mostly B vitamins) to give you more energy to do the things you usually do everyday. You have got to try this! But like other energy drinks, it is, I think, phenylketonuric, too!
I am geared up for the battle that lies ahead...
I am ready to face the challenges that come my way...
I am up to be the nurse the community wanted me to become...
Before I entered college, my first choice of course to take up then was Education. I so often wanted to be a teacher. But when I knew that a nurse can also become a teacher by being a clinical instructor, I opted to take up Nursing, so to be in a field that was kind of different from what I was used to.
And yet now that I am nurse, there are still things that I would like to take up. I guess what I am trying to say is that I want to earn as many degrees as I can and append not only R.N. after my surname but some more designations too. As a nurse now, I would also like to try its different fields, like being a community nurse, a nurse-entrepreneur, flight nurse, or even a military nurse (I would like to see how I would look like wearing the tactical gear!). But then again, I will just have to let the time (and God above) take me to where I am suited to be. After all, I am all geared up for anything that might happen...
I'm officially saying goodbye to my nonage, and it is time I embraced 22. It is kind of sad to know that you get older everyday, but it is much more of a blessing to have been blessed with this life and the years that go with it.
Birthdays are something someone looks forward to, because it is his special day. And I too looked forward to my birthday, not because of the foods that comes with it or the party that will be set up, nor the gifts I will be receiving but the mere fact that I have attained that age. And why don't I look forward to the foods, the party or the gifts? It's because I was accustomed to having sad, uncelebrated birthdays.
Perhaps the only birthdays where my parents bothered to celebrate was when I was one, and that's as evident as the pictures in my photo album. Since I had gained consciousness, I can never recall any birthday celebrated since that. How sad. That's why you could just melt in envy when you see those classmates of yours in your elementary and high school days celebrating their birthdays, if you were in my shoes.

Having your own domain is just like having your own signature in a clothing line. It makes you feel proud, provides you your own identity and will have others envy you for owning your own site, as not everyone who crawls on the web has his own domain. Possessing your very own domain can drive you money more than entrusting your site or blog to a free web host which makes your site a subdomain.
After registering your own domain on the Internet, you need to find a webhost. I myself opted to find one that is cheap yet reliable, and thanks God I found one and I am happy that my new site is with it. I planned of availing the reseller web hosting package then but it is quite more expensive and I thought I may not actually be needing it. So I choose the personal package. Many web hosts provides various plans as personal package, reseller web hosting, colocation web hosting, premium plans, and a lot more. It varies from web host to web host really.
In choosing a web host, it is important to know your budget range. Many web hosts are bad as they are cheap that you really have to scrutinize each and every host on the net that is cheap as well as reliable. You have to know it's uptime percentage, and because this may be just a claim of them, it is advisable to read reviews and testimonials about the web host. It is also wise to ask those who have broader knowledge on and previous experiences with various web hosts.
Although it is your own preference that meets your own satisfaction, asking and consulting is a really wise and courageous move. So never hesitate to ask help in forums and in groups.

I admit I was a one-day millionaire. I would go buy in a day all the things that I want and find out the next day that I had almost ran out of cash. I was expensive, as well as extravagant. I can’t be satisfied with buying unbranded purchases, such as clothes, perfumes, and some other caprices. I was the type who would not survey every store and compare the prices. I didn’t know what I missed, and how big I could have saved if I were a wiser spender.
When you go shopping, it is really wise to get to every possible store that sells what you want, so you can compare the prices and buy the one that sells the cheapest. It is also advisable to shop on seasons where discounts are given. That could save every shopper a lot, and buy more things than the usual shopping. There are also the times of the year where big discounts are given, like school opening, Christmas season, the New Year, and a lot more.
If it’s Christmas and you really want to save big on your shopping pursuit, you can buy items on Black Friday, that’s after Thanksgiving. Buying online at this time would not only save you money but also the effort the buy the things you need. There is no more the hassle of having to queue in a store in the earliest time possible just so to get your things bought early, lest you will be ran out of stock. On Black Friday, you can receive email alerts telling you about the latest offers, so you won’t be left behind.
Shopping should never really be expensive. Shopping should be done wisely, and I am happy that I am now a wiser shopper…
Since Ramiele Malubay got booted out of America's grandest talent search, American Idol, I didn't bother watching the show no more. It's just that there is no one whom I had to cheer for. But that's not saying there's no talent in the show worth cheering for.
One day I was listening to my favorite radio station, Killerbee 89.1 Davao, and knew to my surprise after the DJ announced that the song previously played, a rendition of Mariah Carey's “Always Be My Baby”, is sung by David Cook. I didn't know, and didn't expect, it was actually him who sung that version. I instantly loved it, even before I knew who sang it.

The last time I visited a museum was around 5 years ago, and don't remind me how long that time has gone. Another sad fact about that visit too is that the museum is just a small one, just a small area of a house that showcases some of that national hero's achievements and valued photographs during his days. I am talking about Jose Rizal.
Luckily, there are some museums that boasts of some of the world's historic heritage and wonders. One of my personal favorite of the museums that would be lovely to go to is Louvre in France. I think that is because of what I have read in the Da Vinci Code. I would love to see for myself all those masterpieces mentioned in the book.
But the Stark Museum of Art in Texas, USA would be another lovely stop, as it proudly features America's most significant collections of American Western art. You can explore the art of the American West as it houses paintings, sculpture, and prints from both the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, art collections that depict the beautiful land, its spectacular inhabitants, and the diverse wildlife of the American regions. Aside from the Western Art, the museum also boosts of the American Indian Art, Decorative Arts, and Rare Books and Manuscripts.
The two-story building of the Stark Museum of Art is nestled in Orange, Texas. It began as a vision of enthusiastic collectors of art, furniture and other decorative stuffs, the collectors being H.J. Lutcher Stark and his mother, Miriam Lutcher Stark.
The museum is also connected to the Stark Foundation, which aims to improve the quality of life in Southeast Texas through promotion of and assistance in education, arts, and health and human services.
When visiting this museum, you don't have to worry for charges as admission is free.
Do you like to write? Are you fond of putting into words everything that crosses your mind? Do you want to tell the world these stories and actually make money with your writings?
I cannot blame, nor underestimate, your disbelief the moment you read this post that by writing you can truly make bucks, as I was once like you. All I knew of a blog then is that it is where you put your entries, whether daily, weekly, and whatever suits your leisure time… and just that. But as I put it, your blog can REALLY drive you money. How?
First thing first
What is a blog? Blog is the short term for weblog, which is originally where a website puts in its important logs, just like a diary. Over time, internet users have adopted this trend, thus the bloom of the million blogs on the Internet.

What do you do when you badly need cash and payday is still many days away? Whine? Panic? Worry? Worry no more. There are a lot of possible, sure-fire solutions. Just open your eyes to all the possibilities of getting cash quick and secured.
You can avail of a cash advance loan if you want. All you have to do is get to your nearest loan company or your trusted agency. At first, I admit I was kind of afraid of these loans but when I delved deeper into this matter, it became all too clear to me that getting a loan does not compromise you or your finances at all but help you instead to have financial security. I have yet to try it myself though, and with all the readings about loans I am now less apprehended of the thought of availing this service or offer. Why not give it a try yourself?
When I say fast, it really should be fast. I am the type of person who wants everything gets done in the soonest time possible, and the type who values time like a bar of gold. Time is gold they say. Whoever first said that is really wise, as time equals money, at least for me.
If you are efficient in doing your tasks, you can do more of that and be more productive. More productive means more compensation. Time really matters.
If you felt the need to get loans, time is still of the essence. There are times when we need emergency cash and therefore what we need are fast cash payday loans so to hasten the execution of whatever it is that we will use the money for. It is important to know what loan company to trust, something that does live up to the word “fast” and not only claim it. So choose wisely your loan provider.

For many professionals and working individuals, Friday may always be the most awaited day as it is the end of the week, plus it is payday! But in my case, I can only rejoice on the former aspect; that it is the end of the week, and the end to a seemingly discouraging pursuit.
The thought of going on hospital training with us as the ones who pay rather than being paid is somewhat funny. But honestly I am not discouraged; I am even enjoying my training, although it is sad that I get no compensation for that.
This training requires everyone to spend for himself, of course. And there are really those times that I wish to quit because of the seemingly lack of finances. If I just took other jobs then I would have been earning by now. My blog’s earning is not a lot, that’s why sometimes too I think of considering pay day loans. But how? I don’t even have a job to pay for that. Ha ha. Well anyway for those of you who do have a job and is on tight finances, you can consider that loan too. Thought I needed to share you that…
Internet, child singing sensation Charice Pempengco has been featured on Oprah Winfrey's show, Oprah, and has wowed the audience, rendering two standing ovation episodes as Charice performed "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Houston.
Here's the full clip to her guesting in the show.
Thank you for making us proud again, Charice! Goodluck on your career. I wish you more success.
It is summertime, and if I were not doing my hospital training I would have gone for the summertime vacation. Going to a beach would be on top priority, as it has been a year already since my last visit to a beach, and I am dearly missing the sand, the sun, and the splashes.
If not to a beach, it would be lovely to be visiting many provinces too, especially to our relatives’ area, to experience once again the pastoral way of living, to breathe fresh air, to be with nature.
But going on vacation really does require someone to have a lot of money, as vacation may mean expenses. Good thing there are those companies that offer vacation loans. These loans will help a lot. To avail these you just need to have an active job, a phone number, and either a savings or checking account and they will help get you the money you need.
Good thing there are offers like this, so someone who want s to go on a vacation but without sufficient funds can now have the vacation he wants.
After having known that I am one of those 100 trainees qualified for the hospital training, it occurred to me immediately that since the duty days are from Monday to Friday, I should be get me a new pair of nursing uniform. I had two when I was still a student nurse, and had another one, our gala uniform, when he had our Pinning Ceremony (professional pin). So all in all I had three, but then I rather was disgusted of the thought of wearing my two old uniforms, as I will look like a student with it, as the design is almost always what male student nurses wear now--that white uppers with buttons on the side. Ew, I really hate that design.
And as I am a sucker for polo shirts or polos, I then designed my own uniform in a scratch paper (my erroneous exhibit forms) and had it immediately forwarded to a seamstress to have it done. It has many buttons: one on each side on the collars, two on each ends of the sleeves, two on the lower lateral edges on the front of the shirt, and another two on the lower lateral edges on the front of the pants (see image).

I really am not a fan of traveling, especially by land, although I love to visit new, exciting places. Perhaps this has something to do with not being able to drive, let alone having a car or any land vehicle to drive. It is really a hassle to be jumping from a land vehicle to another to do the double, and sometimes triple, rides just so to get to the place where I wanted to be.
Really, if only I knew how to drive I would have just opted to rent a car to smoothen my traveling activities. That should help a lot, especially that I cannot afford to buy me a car (not now, anyway). In renting a car you should choose not only what is cheap but is also worth the cheapness. I am talking about the good worth of “cheapness”. Something that is really affordable and yet positively reasonable like what Advantage car rental offers. They even have specials and discounts that are sure to make your traveling more comfortable and memorable, featuring the access to use new makes in SUVs, cars, trucks, and minivans.
Traveling, whether for a long vacation or a pleasure sojourn, should be worth your time, effort, and most of all money. That is why you have to choose the best that will make your travel a memorable one.
In the Philippines, several new words have been coined, words that have gained national attention and usage, and most of these slangs are formulated by gays no less. The typical Filipino gays are primarily those who rampantly do neologisms, fabricating words that do not only entertain by the comical tone or sound of them but also to serve as word codes, esoteric to their advantage, so to conceal the words that may be so offensive or disgusting to the other listeners, as Filipino gays, the typical ones, tend to be very vulgar and uninhibited.

I really wanted to try buy and sell. When I bought my second-hand phone last month I was really amazed of the thought that I can profit much from doing a buy-and-sell business. There are those phones that really cost cheap, even when they're still slightly used by the original owners, and therefore will be lucrative if I sold them at a much higher price.
Trouble is I had not enough money to start that microbusiness. Oh well I will surely venture into that if I already have the resources. Buy and sell is really a great business as far as I see it in those who do it. It does not take much of something in you, you just have to be determined. And if you plan of buying or selling belongings or properties, I think it would also be wise to consult brokers as they are knowledgeable on these matters, especially on a large scale business. You can find for a list broker or two to help you get the best of your buying or selling (or both) pursuits.
I am yet to watch the Iron Man movie, although the chance is thin as I am really busy with my career. Reviews say it’s a movie that’s worth your popcorn and favorite drink. It is even in the number one spot in the Top Box Office with a whooping earnings of $50.5M so far.
Did you know that one of Iron Man’s cinematographers is a Filipino-American? He’s Matthew Libatique, no less. Matthew is also best known for his works on such films as Pi, Requiem for a Dream, and The Fountain. You can tell even by just looking at his nose that indeed he has the Filipino trait in him—that thing we call “pango”.

One week down, eleven to go, and I know this post’s title is familiar to you. If not, then do a search of “Emergency 911” by Prezioso. This week has really been exhausting, but very rewarding. I just finished my first week of hospital training in Davao Regional Hospital, in the Emergency Room for this week and the next.
Being in the emergency room can really tire you the bones, but with a very good cause. It is so much better to have been tired from a duty of attending and helping a number of people than have been tired for doing almost nothing.
I am liking so much my exposure in the ER. So far I have learned how to insert IV, even without the IV therapy training yet. And tell you what: working on your own, with no longer the supervision, let alone existence, of your clinical instructor (C.I.) has lesser pressures on you, which can help you work out best on your own alone. My conjecture is that my hospital exposures back when I was still a student was way more exhausting than now because of the fact that you have to think what to do next as you worry your C.I. will give you a low grade if you actually don’t do anything, or do something but incorrectly. Whereas now, if you work on my own like I do, you don’t have to worry about grades. You will worry more if you actually hadn’t learn for your benefit.

Now there is yet another social community for the socialites to share the spark with, but it is not like any other communities for many reasons. One, it is new. Second, it is flaming. Third, it can let you earn lots of bucks. And just that. Honest!
I am new to SocialSpark and I must admit I still find it hard to navigate through the site. The lay-out is good I must say; it graces vision and entertains visitors with it multicolor facet. The SocialSpark logo for one is an eyecandy, at least for me, (I have a knack on noticing logos!) although the “spark” has already turned to flame. I guess what I am trying to say is that it should have been SocialFlame instead of SocialSpark. I guess that makes sense. That's why I said it is “flaming”.
Other than that, there is a good reason to be a member and visit SocialSpark. It is yet again another avenue to meet new friends. Since my sign-up I have had around 5 friend requests and up to now I don't know what to click to see my friend's list. It kind of sucks. While I may have only around five friends, it is amazing to see a member who has 1369 friends and counting. Wow! And BenSpark is here too! I like this blogger of a man so much, and I so love his photos! He's a pro with cams, and he's my favorite blogger-photographer really. Well, my profile is here in case you want to take a peek. He he.
What's best with SocialSpark is that you can make money. And it's for the sole reason why I joined. You can view sponsored post opportunities and see if you qualify. If you do, then go grab it and earn. What I don't like though is that it takes sometime for the images to fully download when you shift from one sponsored post op to another and it sucks that you cannot actually right click each op to see what's in it. It could have been any better if the interface for the sponsored post ops were on a list view. Well anyway, making money is making money that you actually have to deal with the pros and cons.
If you aren't in SocialSpark yet, then it's time you registered. It may not be very good for me now but in the coming days, I know SocialSpark will be so much better.

The year 2008 may really be a lucky year for Filipinos in the entertainment world. There’s the small-girl-big-voice Charice Pempengco, shy yet talented Arnel Pineda, emotional Ramiele Malubay, powerful singer Madonna Decena and that cute, little half-Pinoy Charlie Green boy. And now there’s Chelsea.
So who is Chelsea? Chelsea Emata began recording in an all female music group called SX4. After the group’s break-up shortly after its establishment, Chelsea determined to keep her dream alive and so she started to do her own music. Her self-titled debut album has ten tracks while her sophomore album, “I’m that Girl”, has 13 songs best described as Urban/Pop, with a mix of hot, sultry beats.
Music Connection Magazine (Demo Critiques) considered Chelsea’s songwriting to be “Impressive in so many ways. Extremely hooky, catchy material performed with professional precision, and the right amount of sass…”

“Home is where the heart is” and “home, sweet, home”are two of the fond quotes we dearly know that pertains to “home”, and surely for a clever person like you, mentally and emotionally, you already know how a home differs from that of a house.
Home is where we have fun and share love with our family, exchange wisecracks and whatnots, grow, develop, learn and mature as individuals, and most of all, it is where we find a quiet place to rest our weary body and soul should it warrant.
But what if the home does actually provide less of what are mentioned above? We all know everyone does not enjoy the luxury of living, and no two houses are the same: there are the rich, and the less privileged. Surely, the latter will need a home transformation like those we see on TV. I think I am right in saying everybody would love that. Yes, even I want to have our home transformed. I just want it to look better and be more conducive for us, the residents.
Just like I, the house in the picture really needs a transformation, and this is exactly what I voted for to win the home makeover by Renuzit Tri Scents Transform Your Home with Tanya Memme contest. The ones who resides in that home have been forced out of of their previous home and does not have a lot to get to a new home with their two small children. It is an old, run-down house, very dirty, musty smelling, in rough shape inside out, with the outside falling apart. It has two bedrooms that are too small for the children to share and apparently has left the parents to sleep in the living room, on the couch no less.
If you want this entry to win the home transformation, you will only need to vote for it. You can actually continuously vote for it, only one vote per day until the contest ends on June 7. If you want to see the other entries, you can view them in the semi-finalist gallery and you can pick from which one deserves your vote.
Come on, it's just your vote and you can help a family have their dream home makeover amounting to $20,000. Cast your vote now!
